A Quick Iphone XS Camera Review
With the release of iPhone XS and XS MAX, Apple is still trying to be the leader smart phone company. In September of 2018, they released their new flagship offering new and more advanced specifications to the consumers. One of their improvements was their camera. And it is not only about the hardware inside, but also about the setup, which seems to be somewhat different.
Let's star with the full camera specifications of the new Apple's product.
The main camera is consisted of dual lenses, a first one 12MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide), 1/2.55", 1.4μm, OIS, PDAF and a second similar 12MP, f/2.4, 52mm (telephoto), 1/3.4", 1.0μm, OIS, PDAF, 2x Optical Zoom. Other combined features: Quad-LED dual-tone flash, HDR (photo/panorama). About Video it has 2160p@24/30/60fps, 1080@30/60/120/240fps, HDR, Stereo Sound rec.
Don't forget about the single selfie camera, 7MP, f/2.2, 32mm (Standard) with HDR and 1080@60fps Video.
From all these info, we see that the 12 MP camera is now backed by a bigger sensor than that seen in the IPhone X. Now the sensor measures 1.4μm, while in the previous model it was only 1.22μm. What that means is that the new camera should be able to stand stronger when the conditions are not the best for shooting.
By testing, and many reviews of experts and normal users, the new IPhone XS is one of the best out there. The very high standards of the camera phone market push the companies to improve their products and be competitive, while be able to understand the consumers, their needs and what they can afford. Apple know how to combine all these.
